OTHER: Tennessee Red is the most popular Valencia type peanut. True to their name, this heirloom species is native to Tennessee, & the peanuts have lovely red skins. Maturing early, they are an excellent choice for northerly gardens with shorter growing seasons. This type is easy to grow, being tolerant of a wide variety of soil conditions, even clay soils. Tennessee Red provides a great yield of peanuts that have 2 - 4 kernels to a pod. The delicious, sweet nuts can be enjoyed boiled, roasted, or made in to peanut butter.  Â
